Hi internet.

I am putting my old PC out to pasture. It's a P III 550. Zoom!
Its fanciest peripheral is probably the M Audio delta PCI card (I even have the breakout cable somewhere!)
Also sports SCSI, USB, a video card of some variety, and a network card. You can relive the old days of cat5!
The cd drive and the floppy drive it had once upon a time have both been pilfered for something else, but it still has a DVD ROM that might work.

If you want it or any of its bits, let me know. Otherwise, it, and its massive CRT monitor buddy will probably all end up at the lovely electronics recycling of Hennepin County once I wrangle a trip to my Mom's house.

You, yes you could have a piece of the computer that got me started on the road to digital audio. Aw.

Also up for grabs is my Worksman Port-O-Trike. I bought it new a couple years ago 'cause I thought having a tricycle with a basket in the back to haul stuff would be really convenient at Burning Man. It ended up being way more trouble to haul out there than it was worth, and not the best vehicle for navigating large dust drifts. It was, however, useful for hauling around campmates too intoxicated to deal with a regular bicycle. This, in fact, almost makes it worth keeping, but just not quite. It was only used for the one week and is still in great shape, so I'd like some money for this one. Make me an offer. Mine is dark red, and basically exactly like this guy: http://worksmancycles.com/shopsite_sc/store/html/adulttrikes.html

I'd also appreciate it if its next owner would keep the name we dubbed it during that week, which is "Trike-Tard: Destroyer Of Worlds", though of course I won't really know if you do this or not. This title could also be used, perhaps, to describe any intoxicated friend you wish to sit upon it during your zombie pub crawl or Tweed Ride or Critical Mass or whatever. I don't know. I just know I never ride it and it's taking up a chunk of useful space in our basement storage area.

If you change your mind I would certainly take the Delta as well. I have to figure out how to make my audio setup fit into less space.

That m-audio card is a hot one. I would have been interested as well.

someone at the concom meeting said convergence needs your old-but-functional computers. I think for gaming.

Oh man. Part of me wants to buy Trike-Tard just because it's so hard to watch it leave...

I know! My fondest memories of TT:DOW will always be you pushing Nick through the dust on burn night.
But really, it hasn't moved in 2 years. It deserves better!

I am curious about the trike, but can't decide whether this curiosity is horrible folly.
