Unofficial poll.
I'm a cheapskate (heh), so I don't have polling ability.

Should
spacebug try out for the Rollergirls this summer?
A. Hell yes! Get thee some kneepads and fishnets and start kicking ass!
B. Hell no! You'll put an eye out!
C. Damnit, Low Orbit still doesn't have a full length. Spend those three nights a week in your studio, bitch.
D. None of the above

seriously. you have a motorcycle, and your worried about skating?
plus, this is a pretty low risk contact sport, with the padding and all.
and wearing a mouthguard is HOT. ;)
so i vote A.
but yeah, the tryouts are gonna be sorta brutal, so you should start learning how to skate NOW. i got in on the ground floor, so i had it easy.
'course, now i rock the house, but thats another story for another post.
love,
your local DaggerDoll.

True, in more than a physical sense.
It's in there more for the sake of the poll than for me, I was a pretty daring kid from the get-go. :) Rollercoasters as soon as I was tall enough, 2 story speed waterslides at age 5 or 6, have sustained fabulous bruises from cliff jumping, ride a motorcycle, have done circus tricks on horseback- been thrown, dragged, and got right back on...
So, yeah. I do know how to skate, I just don't know how to skate as well as I'd have to.
I'm far more worried about having less time for music than I am about bruises.
