What was the last vacation you took?
I went to NYC for star5 and dangerdhotrod's Art Opening.

I swore I would return to Ireland someday.

S4 and I are planning to go to Chicago for a quick weekend trip.

Finally, how about a vacation destination that simply holds no interest for you at all?
I can be convinced to travel pretty much anywhere, but I think I'd abhor any traditional college student "Spring Break" stuff. But I might still go if someone else paid for it and I had a chance of avoiding most of the stupid.

A few weeks ago I heard about a music scene in Holland that combines elements of experimental avante-garde stuff with early music, like gambas and harpsichords and such. I'd be curious to go there and see what that actually sounds like.
