I have been having thoughts of cutting my dreads off, in favor of shorter, messy, floppy-spikey easily dyable hair.

It'd also be nice to wear hats again.

Maybe I just need a new color, or something.

i just saw some pictures of me when i had regular short dyed hair, and it made me doubt my dread head again. i'm giving my dreads to the end of burning man. after that i might make a change. for now, i've just cut them shorter (short in the back, long in the front), which is at least giving me my fix for a change. my hair does seem resistant to the dreading idea. or maybe i'm just impatient.

i really really like your dreads, but totally i understand the need for a change, and you'll look supercute no matter what you do with your hair.

shorter messy floppy spiky hair, while very cute, is a ridiculous amount of work, to look like you've done none. Especially after having dreads!

I don't know what r0ckc4ndy is talking about. if you get it short enough, it might not be floppy, but you sure as hell won't have to do "a ridiculous amount of work". but maybe you don't want to go that short. chicken.

and if you keep your hair super short then it is zero work. just get it cut every month!
