Last night I came home from 'derby practice nice and worn out and finally fished my phone out of my bag to see it had had a plethora of activity while I'd been skating. (Because of last practice, I was very conscious of taking *everything* out of my pockets, see...) So I called S4, who I hadn't expected to hear from 'til after 10, who says immediately "Oh, are you here?"
I hadn't listened to any messages. "Am I where?"
"Southdale! I got you a ticket for Serenity!"
(Whaaaa?)
"Aaaaaagh, what time, what time??"
"10pm!"
"Shit!!"
I live in downtown St. Paul. My clock said 9:38. My muscles were exhausted, but the only transport was the motorcycle - Betsy-Bean is temporarily out of commission in front of
r4c's house until I have time to deal with that, which is a whole 'nother story.
Motorcycle go zoom.
I made it from Lowertown to Southdale by 10:04, before S4 had even been able to leave work.
In other news, I'm *so* looking forward to sleeping a lot tomorrow.

So sad, we've been lazy about purchasing one (okay, not really lazy, just too busy traveling to Ireland, US, etc., so can't really complain about not having motorcycle).
