Feeling pretty stunned about London. While only for a short time, it's the only city I've lived in outside a 30-mile radius of where I was born.

I want to believe people on the whole are getting better, and learning from our mistakes, but sometimes I don't know.

i can't help but think of family i've got over there.
and all the families affected, and all that damage it must have caused, and just how fucked up all of it is.

i just don't understand what terrorists are trying to accomplish. what is the ultimate goal? and how is killing innocent people get them closer to that goal? my brain doesn't get it.
my heart hurts.
