Home again home again. It was so nice to have my student friend and my retail-workin' friends and my second-shifter friend all around for a whole weekend. And nice to see all those people that I'm used to seeing in the hazy state of CONvergence frazzle all relaxed and well-fed, instead. Both the cars were there when we came back. Bonus!

Impressed by the new, leaner but not meaner petsnakereggie and moneygod. Hadn't seen either of them for a long time, so the change was really apparent.

Came home, ate some dumplings, and then eventually watched more ALIAS and LOST with S4. JJ Abrams television is crack.

Today Tomorrow after work, I travel to Edina where the offer-I-couldn't-refuse awaits, and my boyfriend will help lead me through some bizarre cult initiation.
I will leave Edina with a wee powerbook in my possession.

Damn. Can't do it today. I dragged my feet on buying a 'puter for months, and now one more day seems like so long! Oh well. I'll use my Monday time for music stuff instead, like I should, I guess.

I'm a little scared but mostly excited.

I'm not sure if they'll let me leave with it, as we own neither a Saturn nor a Volkswagon.

JJ Abrams television is crack.

Holy shit, preach it. I just bought Lost, and I barely did anything but watch it from beginning to end for 3 weeks.

I also watched Alias seasons 1-3 like that...but I watched a couple episodes of season 4 on network tv (freakin' commercials) and thought it was dumb (I mean, Sloane as head of a CIA Black-Ops division? PLEASE.), though some say it gets better. Any opinions on this subject?

Yeah, so far I'm not terribly excited about Season 4. Which sucks, since I went out and bought it... so I still hope it gets better.
LOST is super awesome so far.
