Woke up grumpy, to the sound of the church lady who lives above s4. She is irrepressibly Nice but has a very loud laugh and has some kind of weekly Saturday morning meeting with another laughy friend and what sounds like a toddler with a prediliction for stomping repeatedly from one side of the room to the other. While I try really really hard to not be annoyed by Very Nice Lady, not everyone gets up at 8 on a Saturday. I calmed myself by thinking s4's drunk roommate and roommate's drunk best friend may have solicited a similar response last night.
Ah, well.

Didn't help that my dreams were of a weird job at a grocery store that I don't have, getting dressed down by supervisors I've never met in real life for problems that weren't my fault. Bleh.
However, going to work today sounds all right, as I've been gone for the last 2 days and may well have things to do when i get there. My other new piece of gear should have arrived by now as well, and that's extra exciting, though it will keep my mind from working quite effectively.

DangerDangerHotrod's party was amusing. For a full-on christmas party there weren't as many people there in dorky sweaters as I'd hoped, but that's okay. The Menards decorations were great and I got to see a bunch of nifty people I haven't seen in a long time; a few who live far away but who are here for the holidays.
