This afternoon I spent a long time working on music without my sampler. It felt really good. I am beginning to feel excited about the possibility of selling the K and starting over. Maybe it will be a really good thing, if it all works and I have enough money and stuff. Damn, do I hate money stuff.

I also finally put my mixer up on Ebay, which should cover most of my Burning Man expenses, should it sell. (Please, please sell!)

I also hope IATSE gets around to paying me soon for the 2 Xcel gigs, as that money would be mucho appreciated right now. Should remember to give them a call on Monday and see if they're still having paperwork issues or if I need to get a new social security card or whatever. Guy told me it should be fine, but I have no money yet, so we'll see. IATSE gigs feel so strangely like temp work. There're always new tax forms and new signatures and new places and people to report to and stuff, even after I've been doing this a year or so.

I also applied for a new job the other day.

So, I'm feeling reasonably accomplished this week. I hope I can keep momentum up, working for positive changes in my life, and have something actually come out of it. The feeling of spinning my wheels grows frustrating sometimes.

Saw Look Ma, No Pants! for the first time in several months, and S4 and I went to our first PostPantsParty, which was a nice gathering of folks I don't know super well but who amuse me a lot. Happy Birthday, Kelvin! It was also fun having people actually asking us about Burning Man. I'm used to people kinda being sick of hearing about our desert misadventures. :)

Back to the Bead tomorrow.
I hope it is fun and not difficult.
I am also looking forward to sci-fi tomorrow a lot.

It is past my bedtime, but I am not sleepy. Hmf.
