I've posted a job, I've registered conference attendees. I've photocopied the checks and I've answered the phone and I've coded the bills (I hope they're right) and I've emailed who will be the new networking guy. I've pulled the batch mail lists and I've updated the database (but it needs to be more updated.) I've faxed the people who wanted the tax exemption information and I still have to deposit the money and write out the slip and figure out what the hell all this stuff is that landed on my desk while I was gone. (I don't know what to do with any of it either, y'all.) There are postings to post and countless $20 charges and I don't know who paid and who didn't and there are credit cards to be called in.
But instead I'm spending most of my time slacking off (I'm the only one left here) and being distracted by the fact that it's Friday and I'm the only one here and mostly worrying about my friends.
And I'm hungry.
I should eat.
