Yesterday, I felt like I really needed the yoga. So I pushed myself a good amount, and got a nice feeling of workout.
Later tonight, I decided to catch the last of rollerskating night.
I took the motorbike.
Fun, except for the lowry tunnel being closed and everyone in the whole world getting re-routed. I spent at least 20 minutes in stop-and-go traffic. Stop-and-go traffic on a motorcycle is several orders of magnitude more annoying even than a car with a manual transmission, 'cause there's only so long the "see how long I can keep my feet up" game really remains amusing. My out-of-practice clutch hand got a nice workout, and so did all those strange little muscles everywhere else you tend to use when balancing a few hundred pounds of motorcycle, especially at low speed. They've been all ignored for several months. I cut through uptown, which is not really a shortcut, and then I went another wrong way. Curse my navigation, but I finally got there with a half hour 'til close. The guy was nice enough to let me in for free.
skate, skate, skate.
Got to sneak up on
nibblesonwords and tickle her. That was fun.
Then I rode home, and dealt with the closed tunnel again, taking another long-cut through uptown.
By the time I got home I was very ready to not be doing any physical activity.
One way or another, I think I'm gonna be more in shape pretty soon.
I think I like it.
