Office oddities

My coworker K came home from vacation with a new office assistant. She was looking for a permanent placement, but my boss is allergic to her so she'll have to be a temp. After this week she'll be reassigned as a studio assistant for K at home.

She is small and tabbied and very pretty and has very large ears and mewls a lot.

This morning, I called an artist to get permission to use a photo of one of her pieces in a work document. She wasn't home, but a recording of a very familiar voice told me I could leave a message.
