I had a really vivid dream of swimming with octopi last night. It's not the first one, either, though it is the first one I remember in quite a while. I wonder if cephalopods, or octopi in particular, are some kind of Jungian-style symbol for me. Huh. Last time it was just one, this time it was many, and there was danger of being stung, though it wasn't scary. The "stinger" we had to be careful of was a thin, long, orange double helix that spiralled down into the deep water. I was swimming with other people, but I don't remember who they were or if they were people I knew or not.

Different dream interpretations of Octopi I found online:

The octopus stands for a person or a situation which have multiple ways to hold or influence you. Seeing an eight-legged octopus could means that you are held by unconscious fears and cannot make things happen. An octopus also could represent your possessive partner or even a parent.

If the dream makes you happy, it implies that you may be involved in many different activities or adventures. If there is a negative emotional reaction to the dream, it suggests that unhealthy attachments and entanglements are present in daily life.

Huh.

I am pretty busy, lately.

Neither S4 nor I work tomorrow. That is super awesome.
Very much looking forward to sleeping in, cleaning the house, and probably making a trip to the farmer's market.

Maybe I'll finally get one of those spinach pizzas I keep hearing so much about.
