Friday luck

We both completely forgot to move the car from the street last night- I saw it parked on the street where it had been last night as I left the building with that sudden sinking realization. Meter maids are hawks in our neighborhood- S4 has gotten a ticket in the space of 10 minutes of an expired meter. I walked to the front of the car to pull the familiar striped envelope under the wiper. Except it wasn't there! It had been parked there over an hour past meter time! I moved the car to the lot, where I also hadn't yet paid for my car, got coffee to get change enough, and we are now both in the clear.
