barrelling through to the weekend
Feb. 22nd, 2007 09:34 amThis week, for me, is pretty much about making it to this weekend, though my weekend is busy, too. I love being busy but dislike feeling frazzled. I really can't believe 2 months of the year are already almost over, but I'm excited for March because I don't have any shows scheduled and I can (theoretically) then work on other things or newer things. Or maybe even see my friends on occassion, you know, shoved in there somewhere between work and derby.
So, tonight I have a show. It's at the Nomad and it's free, and you should come. I go on at 11:20.
Tomorrow I'm supposedly participating in a panel discussion for the Spark Festival, but I haven't heard anything about it since I was invited. I don't know who the panel is, I haven't been given anything to prepare, I don't know where to go, nothing. I have fear that I've been unknowingly placed on a panel with one of the guests of honor which would be really cool but also really really intimidating. REALLY. I have to do some planning ahead to get there at all now that I don't have a car to use, so it would be nice to feel at all involved. Part of me just wants to blow it off, but I probably won't because I am Responsible.
This weekend involves three people's birthdays, a derby practice, tearing down the Sensorium, a North Star bout, more Spark festival stuff I want to get to, and if I'm lucky, some sleeeeeep. I'm guessing that I won't do all of that. I'd also like this weekend to involve some watching netflix in my pyjamas. I did some of that last week and it comes highly recommended.
