Thanks everyone who came to the bout. It was super fun. We didn't pull a win, but it was a really well-played, fun game. I feel like I can focus on a little more of the game as I'm playing every time. I think I am becoming a better player, little bit by little bit. It's fun.

So, the St. Patrick's Day parade through downtown St. Paul is happening right outside our window. All morning have the sounds of drunk people blowing trumpet-y horns been part of our auditory landscape. They sound like I imagine retarded elephants might. S4 and I keep imitating the sounds at each other and breaking into giggles.

St. Patrick's Day Update

The traffic has let up, but the retarded elephant noises are still going strong. S4 maintains that he wishes it was like this everyday, because at least it sounds like we're living in a city where people can have fun at night. I think I'd probably grow weary of it after awhile, though. We were joyfully greeted by an older couple on our way out, slurring their tidings of the day and walking crooked down our alley. I'm glad they were on foot.
