88 is a lot keys
Oct. 6th, 2007 12:38 amI hope all the of dumbassery involved my ebay transaction is over. I have reason to believe that it is not, but I have my keyboard, so I am happy.
I missed a real piano. Not that this is real, but it's 88, fully weighted keys, which is close enough for city livin'. I haven't had anything like a real piano in my living space since I lived in a house in 1998. It feels kinda like a long lost limb gets to start to grow back. I tried some sightreading - man, it's been a long time since I've read piano music. I think I'll go get all my old music books from my Mom's house this weekend; all I have are two Beethoven books. Maybe I'll learn some Bach. Nothing quite like clockworky baroque to get some chops back.
Eeeeeeeee!
