almost there... stay on target

1. I am bartending tonight with two of my derby teammates at station 4. This should be a hoot, especially if I have to make change in my head. While I consider myself SMRT, I really suck at simple math if it is under pressure. This is also part of my dislike of cribbage. Anyway, we'll be serving in uniform and it should be cool.

2. I am playing a set for the party at Alis's tonight. If you missed my show at the KCK, here's another chance. WoO! If you liked my set at the KCK, good deal, you'll probably hear something really similar. :)

My countdown of crazy is almost done. Tomorrow I crash land into a day with no prior plans or family obligations. I'm so excited for a day of sleep and whatever I want that I could pee myself.

Next week, I start derby again and spend all weekend either doing derby related photo shoot stuff, or recording for a movie score... but I'm not going to think about that right now.

crazy girl! but i'm excited to see you tonight. i've got my dj setup up.. so you can plug into that however works. i've either directly into the amp or if we can find you a spot on my mixer. easiest if you have rca in i think? i know i have some 1/4 inch, but not sure what all is working.. oh and i don't have any extra cables.. though if need be we could swap some out during your set or something.

I'm sure we can kludge something together. :) RCA is the one type that my mixer is less happy about, though (have xlrs and 1/4 inch. I'll see if I have extra cableage but it might be tight. Scott K is playing before me and probably running mostly through my mixer, so we'll have to get him set up first. Unfortunately, I won't be there until after 10.

k. i do have 1/4 in.. and even maybe xlr.. but it's been a while since i've tried to use those.. i know one channel is fucked.. but i forget if it's the whole channel or just rca or what...

but also it's a pretty low pressure environment. no strict schedule to keep on.. i'm sure we'll be fine.
