Today is my boss's daughter's first birthday. That year went *fast*, and she's not even mine! It seems strange that I'll have been at my job three years already this summer. I still love it.

I will finish one of my projects, probably tonight, if I'm motivated. I thought I'd have to go to southern suburbia to do a recording session, but I asked if just recording on my own and sending a file would be good enough. Lo, it is. Fantastic. It will be nice to have that in the rear view mirror.

We had a conversation at work yesterday that included bits about how there is a certain window of time in which to accomplish specific things most easily during a music career, and after that it becomes harder and harder to do them. In general, anyway. It kind of scared me, but in a good way, I think... I just... I need to keep working, and trusting myself on what I feel is a valuable use of my time. I often feel like I'm not working hard enough on the things I say I care about, which is unsettling, at best.

I am going to go to the North Star derby bout this saturday, wearin' camo. Should be fun.

Yeah, that'd be cool! How can I do that? Can you leave them at the door, or should we hook up, or can I give you a credit card number or paypal or somethin', or just give you monies when I see you there, or what?

ummmm... if I leave them at the door for you, you will have to wait in a not-nice line, and that almost defeats the purpose of adv. tixx. I would be willing to drive them over to your place and slide them under your door tonight, or tomorrow morning, if you like-- we can do the monies thing whenever-- $10/ea, just like you guys... Otherwise, I could give the extra two to Zhac if you guys are meetin' up before the bout, too... just lemme know what works easiest for you...(if I'm droppin' em off at yer place, just let me know your addy, I don't mind driving)
