At CONvergence last year, S4 and I got to spend some time hopping around the room parties. 'Cause the TARDIS Tea Society is a really well done party as well as being run by awesome folks I'm fond of, we stopped there. We hadn't started watching the new Dr. Who yet, but we grabbed some tea and nibbles and ended up catching the last 75% of the episode Blink from the 3rd season.

This was, I'm pretty sure, one of the things that made us make sure to start watching the whole series.

Anyway, last night we finally came to that episode in order. ethel, if you're still willing to have your mind changed on Dr. Who, watch that one, because it's fantastic. If I have any complaint about it at all, it's that the Doctor himself isn't around as much, and he's awesome.

I'm also enough of a dork that I'd wear something like this, and S4 is enough of a dork to make one that has a nicer design and less crappy font. Ayup.

I've been rewatching the series with some friends of mine and we just watched that episode last night too! Definitely a favorite, afterwards one of my friends told me he used to be afraid of statues as a kid- he is totally creeped out! We had to put 4 statue-ish things of his in the garage before I left.
