And I have free tickets to see the Klezmatics Hanukkah party at the Cedar on Sunday. I've never seen the Klezmatics, so that's kinda cool.

Maybe someday I'll figure out what I'm getting for everyone for holiday presents and go shopping. Gah. It's kind of stressing me out right now. Also feeling like I haven't worked enough on music recently. Sitting around and eating take-out and watching bad movies is good for you, too, especially when you've been working a lot, but it's still hard to not beat myself up for not coming directly home from a 9 hour work day and getting busy on creative stuff. Dumb ol' work ethic.

eating chinese food and watching bad movies is also a part of the creative process. your creative parts are gestating new ideas, and they need time to mature. forcing creativity out can sometimes be wonderful, but sometimes it can kill a good idea, too. I think your work ethic needs to shut the hell up and let your creativity create itself how it sees fit.
