Sore throat's death grip is steady. I got myself a pint of ice cream for, uhm, medicinal reasons. I tried a new flavor, because, besides being endorsed by Stephen Colbert, well, chunks of chocolate dipped waffle-cone in my ice cream sounded yummy. That was before I realized that, unlike the magical crispiness-hermetically-sealed-in-by-way-of-chocolate-outer-coating featured in the pretzels of the deservedly famous Chubby Hubby, most of the cone-bits in this unfortunately named "AmeriCone Dream" have long ago succumbed to soggyness. Teach me to branch out from my two favorite flavors. Oh well. It still feels really nice to eat something that doesn't hurt to swallow.
