Choice

One of my lj friends posted this recently. I found it well worth reading. It's the story of a woman and her experience with abortion. It is well written, informative, candid, funny, frustrating, but most of all it is real. I found myself thinking how easily I could be this woman, about how I'd feel about this kind of experience, about the kinds of choices I'd have to make.

Today I got an email from Planned Parenthood MN/SD, and decided to pledge two protesters on Good Friday.

Just imagine if people routinely had to go through that much bother to HAVE kids.

That was worth reading. I've been through a surgical abortion myself (I didn't share it like she did because at the time I just wanted to deal with it and not dwell) and my experience was very, very different than hers, thanks entirely to the Planned Parenthood clinics I went to.

That was very interesting. Sis mentioned how stupid Ohio was before on this sort of thing, they're trying to ratchet back the clock as much as possible.
