Aaaaand we're back.
Once I found out I'd made the IL roster I'd sworn to get some working out in before going back to practice to make the transition easier on myself, but... then I kinda fucked up my back, and then I had CONvergence, so it just didn't happen. I feel rubbery, and am moving really slowly today - I'd already felt like I could sleep for a few straight days after CON. But it also feels good to exercise again.
It was a good practice, and hard. I think we used our time well. I get the impression that this will be a good crew with good captains and that I will learn a lot. It's also pretty fun to jump right into focusing on a bit of a higher level offensive strategy.
I'm thinking of making a derby filter, so I can natter on about this stuff only to people who are interested. Comment if you want in.
Tonight my plans include staying home and doing nothing, for which I'm really excited. "Nothing" probably best translates to "watching crap on Hulu on my laptop in bed and falling asleep at 10pm". Maaaaaybe laundry if I get some wild productivity streak.
