Home from the desert.
Washed, vacuumed and delivered rental car last night, then watched Stardust and ordered pizza, which is becoming the traditional way S4 and I decompress. Stayed home from work today. Slept late, sorted the physical and e mail, dealt with some bills and billing weirdness, shipped restock cds to cdbaby (hooray!), and heated up leftover pizza for lunch. Will start the umptyzillion loads of dusty laundry shortly. There's a bizarre sort of comfort in completing menial tasks. Have duties for the co-op tonight, but otherwise don't plan on doing a lot. Things I am especially thankful for right now: the fact that I left the house in a condition that was nice to return to, and that the big work-y conference that has always happened two days after I return is not happening this year.

The desert was good. Not mind blowing, but a good time. Uneventful in a good way, I think. Still sorting it out, I guess.

10 years. Huh.

I took a cheapo digicam and lost it on the second day. No photos for me, but actually, I had not taken even one picture. I loaned it to my campmate so he could shoot the critical Dicks ride and it was lost with is backpack. I decided last year that there are so many better photographers than me out there that I could just tell people to search flickr for pictures.

We totally missed each other this year! Where were you camped?
