Stupid Work.

I really would rather be staying up far too late and drinking more alcohol tonight, and playing games and picking apples tomorrow. Instead, I'm being good, and I'm going to bed soon so I can go to work. Stupid work. Stupid, stupid work.

I had a very nice day off, though. It started with breakfast at Triple Rock and ended flirting with dj noise at First Avenue, with a matinee in the middle. I wish I had more days off. While I really wish I had more money, I really enjoy not being at work. These things are kind of at odds.

So, how much does working at Kinkos suck, anyway? I hear a lot. Is it less than the Bead? Hmm...

what i understand (from former employees, mind you) is that kinkos is all about ridiculous expectations, constant time-pressure and neglectful, irresponsible corporate management. plus, even 3rd shifters have now lost their freedom to just screw off all night and give free copies to local punkbands making flyers...
like i said, this is from people who have quit or been fired so...

I've heard a lot of the same. Friend of mine used to manage the kinkos over in dinkytown, and he got fired for swearing of all things.

I left Kinkos just as they were implementing all that shit...It was just starting to get overbearing...I guess they've become completely overbearing...oh well...so much for my out-dated two cents...
