Thanks to all the folks who came and saw me in the American Party Dress. It was fun. I wish it hadn't been on *both* weekend days, as I wish I had more weekend goof-off time, but oh well. pied_piper70 and I tried to see the movie that I was a sound assistant for that was part of Sound Unseen, but realized too late that it played Yesterday. D'oh. So we had some noodles and some very good conversation instead, about tricky things like personalities and parents and it was Very Good. He totally called me on some of my shit. I think people are generally afraid to call me on my shit (either that or I have a track record of not listening so well when people try), so... yeah. I appreciated that. I've been in a bit of a strange headspace lately, I think. More anti-social than normal, maybe like there're changes comin' on. I hope they're all the good kind, if that's the case.
I look forward to Autumnal things- Halloween and Omegacon and the corn maze and crunchy leaves and cider.
Maybe I need to make an apple pie...
