Ahhh!!!

If all goes well and our applications are approved and all that, looks like s4 and I are gonna start the move across the river into a new warehouse apartment IN TWO WEEKS! They want someone in SOON, and since it's cheaper than we expected we think we can swing it. It has a loft built in with steps up for our "bedroom", it has an enclosed room in the back for a music studio, and ample storage space under the loft. I'm so excited. The site manager seems like an easy going guy, and seemed to like us. The utilities are included in the rent and most of the neighbors are artists.

Bad stuff- it's on the first floor and doesn't get very much light, there's only a shower and no tub, the floor is hardly glamorous, same for the kitchen counters. But we can paint and modify however we want within reason, and the affordability makes those things pretty easy to bear.

Rock and roll!! I think this is going to be great.

Naturally, I will help you move if you so desire. And if you need anything built in the new space, I would be down with that.

Yay! We'd more than likely have a few weeks to get things done and move in; a nice leisurely move would rock. We'd need to repaint, too, there's some interesting beige and brown action happening that needs to change. We'd be allowed to paint anything that's not the bricks and beams, which we wouldn't want to touch anyway. So everyone might have to get ready for a painting party! We'd want more lights, and we'd definitely need some rugs. Everyone's new job is to get us rugs and ikea gift certificates for christmas. Oh, how I hope everything works out...

I could walk to work! And parking is free!
