I'm going to swallow the fact that this feels vaguely pathetic and just say:

Hi there! It's mildly depressing, sitting all by myself at home and packing. So if anyone wants to come over and mindlessly watch a movie with me while I go to town on my piles of crap and with these boxes that lostbutton was nice enough to bring over, lemme know.

If my effervescent company isn't enough enticement, I also have a small amount of Newcastle.

Well, we could classify you as "amusingly annoying", if you prefer, but you also had star5's innate pleasantness to tip the balance of the description of the evening. Better? ;)

I did drink nearly an entire bottle of wine. I would accept "amusingly annoying" after such an endeavor.

I should remember to go pick up a couple more bottles of that pinot grigio. I thought it was quite tasty.
