Hahaha. Thanks everyone, that was fun.

Let's take a look at the score:

Alcohol consumed:
1 large, empty bottle of sapphire
very much beer
1/3 very very large bottle of Skye
3/4 bottle of Ketel 1
at least three bottles of wine
"Vanilla Twist" vodka (when did that show up?)

Other:
1 broken mirror (sorry, Nick)
1 coat rack down
2 people crashed out
1 vaxjo nearly trapped in the ceiling
Three newly introduced neighbors, and all of them seem very nice.

Interesting mix of folks who showed up. Alis's introduction skills would probably have come in handy earlier in the evening, I'm guessing.

I think I had The Drink I Shouldn't Have Had sometime between 2 and 3am.

Thank you to everyone who came, and also thank you to everyone for the very fabulous housewarming presents.

One of the best parts, though, is that we're still mostly unpacked and cleaned up now.

Soon I will feed my hangover some Seward breakfast. It will be very, very delicious.

Warmed house

Thanks for having the party. I met a bunch of new people. Really, that's very rare for Thaadds these day. We get out of our little ring of school and games very seldom.

Is that what a social life is like?

Yep. That was a hoot. I think we arrived late enough that everyone was already properly socially lubricated. Hehe. Yeah for baked goods!

Yeah, I think I remember reasoning (as I was pouring the drink that did me in) that I only wanted as much vodka as it took to just cover up that ice cube. Which, being ice, was floating. I'd made it kinda strong before I realized that...
I'm glad you came!

It must have been a good party because I'm still recovering . . . :-) Thanks.

Sweel soiree, kids.
I'm thinking that your house has officially been "warmed."

I would say that it's more than warmed. It's been thoroughly hotted. Thanks for coming, helping with the move, returning my robot parts, and the stained glass star looks great hanging up in the loft!
