Clarinet needs a bit of new cork, a few keys straightened out, has a small crack started that needs to be fixed a bit, and needs to be re-oiled (it's wood, and it's dried out a bit, which is why the crack in the first place.)

Getting it up to snuff will cost about $60.

Awesome.

Anyone know the ettiquette on tipping instrument repair people? I usually do a bit, (especially for the guy who put a rush job on my saxomaphone mere days before a gig) but I don't know if that's standard practice or not.

I think a small personal gift might be more appropriate and meaningful. Just a thought.
