Clarinet's all fixed up. Yay! Told the repair guy that I was eager to find out how much was the clarinet and how much was me making it sound awful. He said that the things that were wrong would definitely make it *much* more difficult to play, especially the highest and lowest registers. So, that's comforting, and it follows with the problems I'd been having. It was reiterated again how much more difficult it is to go from sax to clarinet than the other way 'round, since the embrochure is so much more demanding. Ah, well. The fingerings are a little confusing, too, since they're half the same and half different from sax, and named differently because of a different concert pitch. At least I know where I start now. It's all re-oiled and tastes different because of it, too, which is nice. It's less stale.

Also did some other returns and got office supplies for work.

Opened the last christmas gift from Mom and Dad S4, and it wasn't something completely weird or bible related! In fact it was three skeins of fun, fuzzy blue yarn and three different sizes of knitting needles! Color me impressed. I guess I'm a knitter for real now.

...any of you crazy knitting ladies care to lend me a copy of stitch 'n' bitch? I actually decided I'd buy it if I saw it at the store today, but it wasn't there.

Time to annoy my neighbors with amateur clarinet! Woohoo!

I have a copy you can borrower. I need to make a copy of a pattern that I plan on starting soon out of it first, but I can bring it to work tomorrow night and give it to S4 if he's working to bring it home to you.
