Still feeling super sick, but I dragged myself to work anyway, 'cause I needed to be there for a courier to pick up a package and also there were meetings I shouldn't miss. And I'm super tired and quite hungry. And having friends agree to bring you miso soup stuff when you're feeling sick is very, very nice.

If I didn't like my workplace so much, and feel somewhat indebted for all the nice time off and holiday pay, and didn't feel so nicely useful there, I'd have definitely called in sick. In that sense, it's not so bad to be a responsible adulty person. If I feel as asstastic tomorrow morning as I did this one, I'm at least sleeping in for a while.

Sucky. Sunday night I came down with strep throat which has now morphed into a sinus infection. Tonight I make chili.
