I think... just maybe, that Qwest customer service is not only being fast, but helpful, and even cutting me a break. I'm on hold for a minute, but be prepared to mark your calendar.

...and howzabout that. They just took $100 off my bill, and I wasn't even pushy. I think I'll have to stop saying such awful things about Qwest.

So they were being bastads... Wonder what was up with that? I bet if I had called they would have ended up charging us even more.

Actually, according to them, they weren't being bastards. (Of course.) Apparently, our modem wasn't included in the first $185, and our bill was so much last month because it included the first few months of service, or something like that. What happened was that we paid $99 for an installation fee, but the week after we got it installed they did a promotion with a $10 installation fee. So the dude got us in on that promotion retroactively and they just deducted the balance. Pretty cool, eh? So our bill this month was $18, which I just paid while I was on the phone.
