They're testing our fire alarms today.

So far, they seem to work great. And they're very loud, and come on in sporadic intervals, along with flashes of strobe-type light. They're pretty startling; perhaps it's for the best that [livejournal.com profile] hominidgrrl hasn't come in today.

Of course, because I've been watching a bunch of ALIAS, I have all these thoughts about how this drill is just a cover for the CIA operatives stealing something important from the building, or how the bursts of light are a code or some high-tech piece of equipment to immobilize us with seizures or something.

...Yeah.

So since we were at the store and I'd decided I want to look for better clothes, I ended up buying another pair of girl jeans. They're pretty cool. They're even better because they were supposed to be $20 and they rang up as less than $6. I'm not exactly sure how that happened, but I can't say I mind. I think it is a good omen for my new clothing mission.

Happy birthday to Mr. Worm.

tsk tsk

for shame, not divulging the identity of said store where girl jeans can be purchased for $6.

And the CIA is out to get you. Or is it the FBI?
I have 3 weeks worth of Alias season 4 to watch, which I may get to do tonight if I leave work before 7pm.

Do they have pockets?

in which you can keep all our secret little gadgets that disable the security cameras and make it possible to remove our agents without being seen??

Yes, the jeans have several pockets, capable of carrying a lipstick or perhaps a cellphone.
