Blah. Trying to make music is Sisyphean today. I keep fiddling, but nothing gets done. It's really cool that I'm using all of these new tools, but it's frustrating 'cause everything's new and it takes longer to figure out how to do anything. Some distraction I like, but realizing I've been mucking about with the presets on the Ion for 45 minutes without recording or really learning anything I set out to learn, multiple times, is... well, I'm just hoping the fiddling will actually become some actual knowledge at some point. I'm kinda feelin' burned on manual reading. I hate it when music feels like the non-fun kind of work.
I think I need to do something else, like play DDR some more.

That way you don't have to hunt up a preset to overwrite -- Just find the sysex file on the 'pute, send it, and you're right back where you were with no muss or fuss.
