*oof*

Yesterday, I felt like I really needed the yoga. So I pushed myself a good amount, and got a nice feeling of workout.
Later tonight, I decided to catch the last of rollerskating night.

I took the motorbike.
Fun, except for the lowry tunnel being closed and everyone in the whole world getting re-routed. I spent at least 20 minutes in stop-and-go traffic. Stop-and-go traffic on a motorcycle is several orders of magnitude more annoying even than a car with a manual transmission, 'cause there's only so long the "see how long I can keep my feet up" game really remains amusing. My out-of-practice clutch hand got a nice workout, and so did all those strange little muscles everywhere else you tend to use when balancing a few hundred pounds of motorcycle, especially at low speed. They've been all ignored for several months. I cut through uptown, which is not really a shortcut, and then I went another wrong way. Curse my navigation, but I finally got there with a half hour 'til close. The guy was nice enough to let me in for free.

skate, skate, skate.

Got to sneak up on [livejournal.com profile] nibblesonwords and tickle her. That was fun.

Then I rode home, and dealt with the closed tunnel again, taking another long-cut through uptown.

By the time I got home I was very ready to not be doing any physical activity.

One way or another, I think I'm gonna be more in shape pretty soon.

I think I like it.

you got to tickle me andwatch me keel over in giggles! ;)
i was really happy to see you there :) AND your super furry skates. yay for furry skates! down with stupidly white girly skates. boo. who wants those anyway? i kept on wanting to pet them...they were like small kitties. aww. small kitties!
damn that lowery tunnel! i took a detour through downtown mpls to get my small herd home to st. paul. we made it home safely, despite the rampant giggles as nicky and i imitated helium. "heeeeelium....miiiiiiisery...strindberg's hot tonight, strindberg's hot tonight."
okay. i'll shut up now. something lovely happened tonight so i'm a little hyper.
let's skate again soon! :D

since you didn't mention it i'll assume you made it home before the rain started. i heard it as i was falling asleep and my head went *bing* off the pillow and i hoped you were home already. i can only imagine what a cold ride that would've made.

Nope, made it home dry. If we got any rain over St. Paul way, it wasn't very much. I've ridden in much colder, but it was still nice to get home.
