Had much fun skating last night. Got to see some of my old bead ladies-turned-Atomic Bombshells. Updated phone numbers and have tenative plans to go motorcycling and skating with C Stars. Yay! Also chatted with lokey and bohemianrhapsody, which was nice. And today, while I have some interesting minor blisters on one foot, my muscles are not sore. Go me.

This morning, I had restless dreams that a favorite uncle died very suddenly.
I have enough emotional sifting to do without my subconscious making things up, too. Gah.

I found a favorite necklace I'd made a few years ago during the Bead Era- a jade coin with Chinese kanji on it. pants_of_doom told me what a few of them meant once, but I don't remember. I was happier than I expected to be that I found it. I'm not huge on jewelry, but this one is really simple. I made it in about 10 minutes and didn't think much of it at the time, but I've grown to really like it. It's more "me" than almost any other piece I have or have made. And if you go in for the hippie side of stones, jade supposedly helps for calming and healing and is just generally good for you. Dunno how much I go in for that- like horoscopes I find it less something to live my life around and more a curiosity, but I figure it can't hurt.

Turns out we're almost positive we'll be buying S4's sister's little geo metro in about a month. And she was very nice and is giving us a pretty nice family discount. Exciting. Not a powerhouse of a car, but cheap and little and 36 miles a gallon! I've always wanted a wee little hatchback. Hooray.

Also inquired about getting my motorbike into the shop soon. I got another very good review about Roy's from the barista at the Black Dog (who's also a lady with a bike), so I emailed them. A woman half runs the place, she emailed me back almost immediately, was very nice and says they like to work on older bikes. So, have a good feeling about that.

I woke up about 5am to find my S4 still hard at the WoW, since he doesn't work today.
I wonder if he remembers I thought it'd be nice to have lunch together.

Perhaps I soon will have to take star5's suggestion and make myself a blue question mark to put over my head to retain his interest in me. Hmm. I wonder how many experience points should one get from small quests, like a lunch date? Or doing the laundry or the dishes?

I see. Isn't Warcraft that game with all the little figurines? Actually I have no idea what I'm talking about. See I'm so not a hip kid.

Maybe it's time to stage an intervention.

Could be worse. He could be obsessed with World of Adventures.

You might have to have an alternating exclamation point and question mark, one to show he needs to "start" something, one to show that he needs to come back and check in. heh.

Up for Triple Rock, say tomorrow or friday? (tho, you might be wanting to hang out with your mom friday I suppose...)

*psst* It's a yellow question mark!

And I would wager a lunch date should earn 3900 XP, and 5 reputation points with the Spacebug faction.

Something like a dinner that the player (er... boyfriend) must plan would yield 7000 XP and 15 reputation.
