Pardon the commercial for a moment, but:

I just made the precooked frozen vegetable dumplings listed here.

They were soooooo yummy, and super quick.
And they sell them at Cub and they're pretty cheap, and (as far as i can tell- the ingerdients list has some long words i'm not positive about) they're even vegan! Bonus!

Hmm. Okay, I checked my receipt, and they're almost $5, which actually made them the most expensive thing on there. But you get 30 of them. And they're SO GOOD!

And I just had a very good beer with my dumplings, which made them even better. (Thanks, pied piper!)

And I just got an email from Omaha that makes me happy.

And it's band practice night.

And I've tackled a lot of the really intimidating pile of dishes.

And I really enjoy our hanging pots-and-pans rack that we finally secured a ladder large enough to attach to our ceiling. It looks a lot more useful when there are actually pots and pans hanging on it.

And I haven't seen Star Wars yet and I don't care. But I still don't want anyone to tell me anything. All of you should follow 433's example and clearly label your spoilers under cut tags.

(...And I just held 433 up as a role model.)

I kind of thought so too. But then I started thinking about it, and I can't really think of individual foody items we get with any regularity that are more than that. We got a stockpile of frozen pizzas 3/$9.99- but those don't count as 1. And I got a bag of organic avocados, but those were less than $4. And we got a bag of boca non-meat, and some kinda fancy cheese, and a bag of rice and cans of mock duck and curry stuff, but nothing over $5. If we could buy wine at the grocery store like the rest of the universe, the pricing landscape would probably change some.

If you think those are good, you need to go to the Wedge (as I haven't seen them anywhere else) and get Shu Mai. The product name changed, but they are little open topped vegetable dumplings (vegan!) and so damn yummy yummy yummy. Addictive too.

Still up for aaron's arial show tonight? 8pm
If not, I have no plans saturday night either :) (*hint hint*)
