I have to check my paperwork. It's something really crazy, like 22 days. Not including sick/personal time. It's gonna *so rock* to not be completely poor when I come back from the desert. And it means I can eventually swing coming to see you folks all far away sometime. If only I had this deal when you were in England!
wow that *is* a nice vacation allotment. i've got 20 days which *does* include sick days. but then if i'm actually sick i can "work from home" unless i'm so incapacitated i can't even make a nominal effort.
also i noticed lately that the time i spent in mpls hasn't been docked from my vacation hours yet. i'm supposed to give my vacation notices to my boss, who then relays the info to HR, so either he's just being lazy and procrastinating (entirely possible) or he's giving me some free vacation time. i'm trying not to get my hopes up about that. (meep!)
i second this visiting-us-folks-all-far-away motion. flights here from mpls are relatively cheap. and there's all kinds of free lodging all over the city.
