time keeps on slipping

Have the profound feeling today that I'll blink and summer will be over, and I won't have done all the fun summery things I want to do. Maybe it's because the humidity finally broke today. Maybe it's because I spent longer than I meant to wandering around air-conditioned shopping malls looking at mostly "nice" clothes with my Mom yesterday, forcing me to turn down a swimming invitation. Maybe it's 'cause there's precious little time left between the Convention prep and Burning Man prep portions of my summer. Maybe it's 'cause my boy has to work retail at least one day EVERY SINGLE WEEKEND ALL THE TIME.

Yep.

Already done:
Gone swimming in both pool and lake on a hot day followed by ice cream out of a cone. With cute girls, even - bonus!

These all bear repeating.

Still need:
-waterslides
-rollercoasters- ValleyFair is acceptable- would also enjoy road trip to Six Flags (I've never been!) or somewhere similar.
-to go "Up North", camping preferred.
-More time on motorcycle
-To purchase copy of new Harry Potter book, to be read outside at a coffee shop.


I'm sure there are more I'm not thinking of, but this will do nicely.

I have that same feeling about the summer. After Burning Man there really isn't any summer left. And I want to paint my house before BM so there really isn't much time at all.

It's good to have a list.

summertime fun will be had. it is my goal. wait until after my return on aug. 6th to go to valley fair!

The good thing about this stuff is that it's always good the second time. Once S4 chooses the day, I'm probably going to take a day off of work to go to Valleyfair since he works weekends all the time and I have a bunch of vacation time.
