(no subject)

I haven't had any caffeine today.

...

It bothers me a little that I can really tell.

...

Should I cave, and have some before yoga; or yawn, drink some water, and ride it out?

EDIT
For those curious, I made it.

Time for bed.

I find that when I shake the dependence, I actually wind up with more energy over shorter periods of time. Caffeine comes in useful for needing to stay awake a long time.

If you don't need to be super-perky - if you've made it this far - I say ride it out. Shake off the caffeine dependency and you'll feel better in general. (Once I get my sleep schedule readjusted I have to do that, myself.)

When I'm off caffeine I drink green tea. It has about a third of the caffeine. Green tea also rocks when it's iced.

I've accidentally cut caffeine out of my diet- I find that the best things for energy these days are vitamin C and/or a snack. But when you're an addict, the best thing is more caffeine. Besides. Coffee tastes so good.

I decided an apt reward for going the whole day yesterday was a nice cup of coffee this morning...

I really don't think I drink too much coffee. I have a small most mornings.

I do drink too much soda, though.
