Smile big

I woke up feeling vaguely disconnected this morning.
Maybe getting stressed out, maybe PMSy, maybe both.

I don't know if that showed on my face or not, but, as any change in my emotional state tends to broadcast pretty far I wouldn't be surprised.

On my way in to work, S from the Black Dog, sitting outside with her cigarette, saw me walking in and said: "Smile big, honey, you're young and beautiful and you have a job."

So I did.

I reallyreallyreally hope I manage to get the brunt of the girly stuff out of the way before we're in the desert, but I'm not counting on it. Ugh. Oh well, I've managed to avoid it five years now, guess I'm due.
