Yay. Just as good as the first one, any complaints I have are minor and exist pretty much because the director doesn't live in my particular imagination. (Okay, there're little things, but damnit, the rest is so lovely it almost doesn't deserve to be picked at.) Anyway, got back from the midnight show just before 4am, so I wish i could be curled up in bed instead of having to go to work. thppt.
Was in a very bad mood for a bit last night. At least it dissipated reasonably quickly, but I dislike the fact that my head can decide to be so intensely negative sometimes. It doesn't feel right. Workin' on it. Rrr.

And my new mixer came yesterday! Whee! I've decided that I simply adore Mackie manual-writing. It makes sense. The pictures are lovely. It's even funny. It's cross-referenced everywhere. There's a whole section on modifications. There's a glossary that's huge and well done. I'm quite excited to have a small mixer that I can understand, as signal flow doesn't come immediately intuitively to me (as an electronic music girl, this is frustrating) and having a mixer that obscured routing in an esoteric digital panel did not help this shortcoming. So yay, cool new gear. Okay.

Must get to work.

At first when you said you're new mixer came I was thinking it was one of those really nifty countertop enamel mixers that cost hundreds of dollars at Kitchen Window. And I thought Cool! I want one of those. But then I realized it was gear and I am now clueless as to what the heck you are talking about.

I hate not being a music geek sometimes.
