Right now, I hate the Apple Store.

I want S4 to have ONE weekend sometime, even two days off in a row, without needing to plan it in advance. Just once. I dare you. Really.

I can't wait to see how much manager crap he's still forced to do even after he's not a manager anymore.
Almost as much as I can't wait to see how much you schedule him for Christmas.

My car still doesn't work.

Meh.

Oh! I don't get a weekend either. Because I'll be there instead of having my usual lovely friday night to myself and saturday off. I hate iPods.

I have this theory that everyone should be made to work retail for a year at least. The crappy jobs. The crappier hours. Worst of all: The Promotions. My SIL is 25ish and working for Old Navy. She thinks it's so great that she got promoted to cash handler (or whatever the hell it's called.) She and my brother keep talking about how great it is that she's working her way up, how she has a real future with the company. It's all I can do to not visibly cringe. All it means is that they will be asking her to take on more and more responsibility and to work more and more hours. Weekends mean NOTHING in the world of retail except more dollars to be made for the execs.
