Wednesdasies

I was loathe to leave my bed and bucket this morning, but slept reasonably well and did anyway. Still tired and a little oogey, but here I am at work. Peppermint tea is good. I might face the fear and try some solid food today. Wooo!

We finished the first season of 24. Man, that felt like hard work, watching that show. If we decide to continue with that series, we will be taking a healthy break first. The show doesn't out and out suck, but there's just so much drama for so long that it began to be laughable after a while.

Come see my show tomorrow!

Oh dear. If there is too much drama for you, I should probably not even try watching it. I assume you're referring to stupid, contrived interpersonal drama? Have you tried watching Threshold? The show was cancelled, but the episodes I've downloaded so far seem much better than is average for sci fi these days. Still, there are plenty of embarassing moments.

Oh, I'm pretty sure you'd *really* hate 24. Especially the main character. Every other thing he says is about how Damnit, he doesn't need to follow protocol, and then *everything* serious he says is *always* followed up with "I promise", even, probably especially, if it's a promise he can't keep. And his superiors always go for that, it's ridiculous. S4 and I started joking with each other: "Oh. He promises, guys! Don't worry! We don't need due process or anything, Jack promises!" And it's always, always, always a life and death situation, there are constantly major screwups that seem like they could have been avoided pretty reasonably... it just gets tiring.

Gotcha. Well that saved me some trouble. Thanks Spacebug!
