Well, that was stupid.

Sometimes St. Paul is far away.

Wish I had another day off, even though I just had four and it's greedy.

Finally brought the clarinet in to be repaired. It will probably be cheap to fix- a screw or two loose, a missing pad, and a few things to be realigned. I'm super excited. If I get this resolution done, it may even be before the new year even officially starts. Neat.

Very tired.

rad.

Clarinet needs a bit of new cork, a few keys straightened out, has a small crack started that needs to be fixed a bit, and needs to be re-oiled (it's wood, and it's dried out a bit, which is why the crack in the first place.)

Getting it up to snuff will cost about $60.

Awesome.

Anyone know the ettiquette on tipping instrument repair people? I usually do a bit, (especially for the guy who put a rush job on my saxomaphone mere days before a gig) but I don't know if that's standard practice or not.
