Saturday has been good.

Alis and I ran all over the place, and yet, curiously, never went to Minneapolis. A full day of errands, all in St. Paul or St. Paul suburbs. I think I officially live on the East Side of Town, now.
I got things I'd been meaning to get for a while. I have a flight suit. Hooray! I look forward to wearing it possibly at convergence and definitely at Burning Man with my aviator cap while driving my rocket car. This is, of course, dependent on my having a rocket car done. I have yet to find a suitable go-cart with which to begin making the rocket car, which was part of our quest today. I'd like to spend ~$200, microcarts on ebay cost that much to ship. Checker had an electric one for over $400, fleet farm had a big ol' off roading two seater that cost twice what my actual car did, so, no luck so far. If anyone knows anything about go carts and where I might get a simple small one for cheap, please do tell. It's 2006. I am six years behind in my need for a rocket car. Fleet farm says they're getting smaller ones in soon since the season is starting, so perhaps I will check back and hope that there is something workable.
And then we visited the fabulous nibblesonwords at work and Alis had her iPod taken care of and I bought things to make me feel better about my Shiny- an AppleCare agreeement and a neoprene case. Yay. Now it can't get too mad at me if I take it into the wide world for shows and coffee and things.
There was also a stop at a coffee shop, the fabric store for supplies for my class and a lovely lunch of indian food.
I came home late afternoon, fully intending to work on music and fell promptly asleep. But I did make up this little thing. And recorded it. For You.
See?
I believe we are soon off to hang out with K and L over at the Rossmor. Something about birthdays....
