Mar. 22nd, 2006 02:09 pmDeleted boring post about work. Here is a boring post about not work instead.
Forgot that I'd had a lovely dream before I stumbled down the loft trying to wake up. Forgot, that is, until gunn posted about her dream and I realized I remembered bits of mine.
I was going to visit star5, and she was in Australia for some reason instead of California. And the clerk liked me and told me that if I went on a later flight, one that stopped in Texas, that my ticket would cost $89 instead of $899. I stared out the window as the plane took off. One of my favorite parts of taking a plane trip when it's cloudy and gray at home is that, along with the somewhat euphoric rush of feeling a plane lift off the ground, once you get high enough in the sky the sun is shining again. There's something to that, remembering that the sun is always up there and shining but we don't always see it because it is night time or it's cloudy.
I really like the pizzas they make at the cafe downstairs, but I rarely get them for lunch because they're a bit expensive and they are too big to eat oneself. Today they had tomato and basil personal-sized pizzas on special. yumyumyum.
Possibly made a connection to play an electronic night at a music festival this summer. Neat.
