Work has been really really really busy. Generally it's totally dead the week between Christmas and New Years', so I'll be able to catch my breath then. Holiday stress is starting in... so many events and birthdays and family schedules to deal with. My show is back on at the Kitty Cat Klub for sure on the 27th. I'm really excited about that, but I'll have to put some work in, I really want to play a good show. I'm also playing for Alis's party and I'd agreed to be a charity bartender at Station 4 for a roller derby thing the same night. Eek. Meeting about the film score tonight. This weekend I hope to get my shopping finalized and figure out what I want to do on my birthday proper... I'll probably have a birthday dinner with my Mom this weekend, too. I scheduled a weekend of recording for the other movie in January, and then realized that I double booked it with the photo shoot the Rockits are doing. Gaaah. So, anyway, things are kinda hectic is spacebug-universe and I'm looking forward to some chill time and my two four day weekends for Christmas and New Years, and for some time to hang out with azure and figment.

Because I'm not roller skating right now, I tried out circus school last night. It was pretty fun. I was able to do everything they showed me pretty well, which was what I was hoping. I am sore in new and interesting places today, but not the ones I expected. Curious! I can see how it's an activity that gets more and more fun the better you get. It seems a lot of things are like that- derby got way more fun as a game once I could deal with the basics and delve more into strategy, too.

All right, I've got payroll to run and thank you's to write and deposits to make and websites to update...
